The plain fact is users will not read anything you put on the screen.
I've been convinced of this for years. When designing UIs, the first trap is to add supporting text to help the situation. But keep in mind that it may make you feel better about things, it really isn't going to help the user who most likely can't be bothered or is too overwhelmed figuring out what's going on to read anything.
Hmm, interesting concepts. I'm not sure if having titlebars on the side is actually better. Seems like it wold impede in trying to read the titles. Why not just lose them altogether if they're not that useful to people? And why does the music sound like the castle level in Super Mario Bros?
Funny we kinda have this already with other apps but it's interesting to see it all packaged up with all the Rock Band goodness. Networking features need to be key I think.
Also, when is EA going to throw their hat in the ring with an achievements system? We already have plus+ and OpenFient. I was thinking maybe Apple would bust in and create a unified one but I just don't think it's their thing.
